Yasmine Hamdan s’est d’abord fait remarquer sur la scène musicale avec le duo pionnier d’électro indie beyrouthin Soapkills, qu’elle a cofondé avec Zeid Hamdan à la fin des années 1990. Installée à Paris en 2005, Yasmine a collaboré avec le producteur de Madonna, Mirwais, pour le projet Y.A.S., publiant en 2009 chez Universal l’album Arabology, à la fois élégant et taillé pour les clubs. Depuis, elle a acquis une reconnaissance internationale en tant qu’auteure-compositrice-interprète et productrice solo, entremêlant avec raffinement des influences variées : racines panarabes, pop et textes poétiques, électro, soul et mélodies de guitare. Yasmine a collaboré avec des cinéastes tels qu’Elia Suleiman et Jim Jarmusch, et a tourné à travers le monde pour défendre ses albums Ya Nass (2013) et Al Jamilat (2017). ىنكستب Son troisième album intitulé “I remember I forget و ذ ر ” est sorti le 19 septembre dernier.
Yasmine Hamdan first made her mark on the music scene with the pioneering Beirut indie electro duo Soapkills, which she co-founded with Zeid Hamdan in the late 1990s.
After moving to Paris in 2005, Yasmine collaborated with Madonna’s producer, Mirwais, on the project Y.A.S., releasing the album Arabology on Universal in 2009 — a record both elegant and crafted for the clubs.
Since then, she has gained international recognition as a singer-songwriter and solo producer, weaving together a rich blend of influences: pan-Arab roots, pop and poetic lyrics, electro, soul, and guitar-driven melodies. Yasmine has worked with filmmakers such as Elia Suleiman and Jim Jarmusch, and has toured worldwide to promote her albums Ya Nass (2013) and Al Jamilat (2017).
Her third album, titled “ىنكستب I remember I forget و ذ ر ”, was released on September 19th.
Palestiniens natifs de Nazareth, les trois frères Samir, Wissam et Adnan, virtuoses du oud, se lancent dans l’aventure du Trio Joubran fin 2003 avec leur premier album Tamaas.
Depuis maintenant vingt ans, le trio célèbre, avec une sensibilité et un talent rare, la culture palestinienne à travers le monde, en passant de L’Olympia au Carnegie Hall, de la Salle Pleyel à l’Opéra de Dubaï.
Le Trio Joubran fête ses vingt ans d’existence avec une tournée intitulée “Vingt printemps” pour symboliser cet anniversaire, avec un spectacle inédit, puisant dans l’ensemble de leur discographie, riche de six albums puissants et singuliers.
Pour ce spectacle unique, Le Trio Joubran n’est pas seul sur scène. Les trois ouds sont rejoints par un quatuor à cordes et des percussionnistes de renom, créant une palette sonore élargie qui amplifie la puissance émotionnelle de leurs compositions . La structure du concert, pensée comme un voyage, fait alterner des moments d’intimité du trio seul avec des passages où les arrangements avec cordes et percussions subliment leurs morceaux iconiques

Native Palestinians from Nazareth, the three brothers Samir, Wissam and Adnan, virtuosos of the oud, embarked on the Trio Joubran adventure at the end of 2003 with their first album, Tamaas.
For twenty years now, the trio has been celebrating Palestinian culture around the world with rare sensitivity and talent, performing at venues ranging from the Olympia to Carnegie Hall, the Salle Pleyel to the Dubai Opera House.
The Joubran Trio is celebrating its twentieth anniversary with a tour entitled ‘Twenty Springs’ to symbolise this milestone, featuring a brand new show drawing on their entire discography, which includes six powerful and unique albums.
For this unique show, the Trio Joubran is not alone on stage. The three ouds are joined by a string quartet and renowned percussionists, creating an expanded sound palette that amplifies the emotional power of their compositions. The structure of the concert, designed as a journey, alternates between intimate moments with the trio alone and passages where the arrangements with strings and percussion enhance their iconic pieces.
